How To Make Reindeer Rice Krispies
Step 1. Prepare the base: Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with nonstick spray, or line the pan with parchment paper sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Melt butter with mini marshmallows. Stir in vanilla extract and Rice Krispies cereal. Press the mixture into the prepared pan and let it cool for 30 minutes.
Step 2. Create antlers: Melt chocolate chips and spread a thin coating on each cereal square. While it's wet, place two mini pretzel twists on top to form the pretzel antlers.
Step 3. Add eyes and nose: Place two candy eyes on the chocolate and position a red m&m below them for the reindeer's red nose.
Step 4. Set and serve: Allow the chocolate to set and harden before serving.

Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients
- ½ cup salted butter
- 16 ounces mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 10 ounces chocolate candy melts
- 32 mini pretzel twists
- 32 candy eyes
- 16 red M&M's
Instructions
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large microwave safe bowl, add the butter. Microwave for 30 seconds, or until melted.
- Add the marshmallows. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until marshmallows are melted. Add vanilla extract and stir.
- Stir in the Rice Krispies until combined with the marshmallow. Pour themixture into the prepared baking pan and press down evenly. Allow the mixtureto cool and firm up for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave according to the package instructions.
- Spread the top of each cereal square with a thin coating of the chocolate.While the coating is still wet, place two mini pretzel twists on either side of the top of the treat to create the antlers.
