HOW TO MAKE Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and water.

Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer the syrup for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove the syrup from the heat and allow it to cool completely.

Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar or bottle. Store the brown sugar simple syrup in the refrigerator.

Allow the syrup to cool completely before straining and storing. If you strain the syrup while it's still warm, you may lose some of the depth of flavor.
