    • Heavy whipping cream: Heavy cream whips and holds its shape in the custard.

    • Vanilla extract: I use pure vanilla extract.
    • Cocoa powder: For mixing with the heavy whipping cream and for dusting on top.
    • Ladyfinger cookies: Find them in the cookie isle of most grocery stores.

How To Make Individual Tiramisu Cups

Step 1. Whip the cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

Step 2. Flavor the whipped cream: Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder to the whipped cream. Mix well.

Step 3. Prepare mascarpone mixture: In another large bowl, mix mascarpone with the remaining powdered sugar using an electric mixer until smooth.

Step 4. Assemble the cups: Set out four dessert glasses. Place a crumbled ladyfinger at the bottom of each glass. Pour a tablespoon of strong black coffee over each ladyfinger. Layer with two tablespoons of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers, coffee, and mascarpone mousse.

Step 5. Top with whipped cream: Layer the whipped cream mixture over the last layer of ladyfingers.

Step 6. Finish with cocoa powder: Sprinkle a dusting of cocoa powder on top of the whipped cream.
