Ingredients You Need
- Heavy whipping cream: Heavy cream whips and holds its shape in the custard.
- Powdered sugar: To sweeten and flavor the mascarpone custard.
- Mascarpone cheese: It wouldn’t be true tiramisu without mascarpone, at room temperature.
- Vanilla extract: I use pure vanilla extract.
- Cocoa powder: For mixing with the heavy whipping cream and for dusting on top.
- Ladyfinger cookies: Find them in the cookie isle of most grocery stores.
- Black coffee: Espresso coffee or any strong coffee.

Whip the heavy whipping cream.
Add vanilla, sugar and cocoa powder.
Mix sugar and mascarpone cheese.
Place crushed cookie in the bottom of each glass.
Layer with cheese mixture.
Pour coffee over each crumbled cookie.
Layer the whipped cream mixture.
Sprinkle with cocoa powder.
How To Make Individual Tiramisu Cups
Step 1. Whip the cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
Step 2. Flavor the whipped cream: Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder to the whipped cream. Mix well.
Step 3. Prepare mascarpone mixture: In another large bowl, mix mascarpone with the remaining powdered sugar using an electric mixer until smooth.
Step 4. Assemble the cups: Set out four dessert glasses. Place a crumbled ladyfinger at the bottom of each glass. Pour a tablespoon of strong black coffee over each ladyfinger. Layer with two tablespoons of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers, coffee, and mascarpone mousse.
Step 5. Top with whipped cream: Layer the whipped cream mixture over the last layer of ladyfingers.
Step 6. Finish with cocoa powder: Sprinkle a dusting of cocoa powder on top of the whipped cream.

- 6 tablespoons cocoa powder divided
- 8 ladyfinger cookies
- ½ cup strong black coffee
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Add the vanilla, 2 tablespoons of the powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa powder to the whipped cream mixture.
- In a separate mixing bowl, mix the remaining sugar and mascarpone with electric hand mixer until smooth.
- Set out four glasses, break one cookie in the bottom of each glass. Pour a tablespoon of coffee over each crumbled ladyfinger. Next, layer with two tablespoons of the cheese mixture. Repeat the process with the remaining cookies, coffee and cheese mixture.
- Layer the whipped cream mixture over the last layer of cookies and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
