Ingredients You Need
- Buttercream frosting: Use your favorite brand.
- Red candy melts: Any brand works.
- Strawberry flavored pink candy melts: Adds a pretty pink color.
- Pink and red heart sprinkles: Optional, but adds a festive touch.

Melt the red candy melts.
Repeat with the pink candy melts.
Microwave frosting and add extract.
Place half of frosting with pink, the other red.
Alternate pouring in the two colors.
Tap pan in between to even out.
How To Make Homemade Fudge
Step 1. Melt candy melts: Microwave red and pink candy melts separately, in a microwave-safe bowl, until smooth.
Step 2. Melt frosting: Microwave buttercream frosting until fully melted and smooth.
Step 3. Flavor frosting: Stir strawberry extract into melted frosting.
Step 4. Mix colors: Divide melted frosting, mixing one half with red candy melts and the other with pink candy melts.
Step 5. Prepare pan: Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang.
Step 6. Pour alternating colors: Alternately pour red and pink fudge mixture into the pan, tapping to even out and remove bubbles. Add some sprinkles over the top of the fudge, if desired.
Step 7. Chill: Place fudge in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until the fudge is hardened. Cut the fudge into bars and enjoy!

- 16 ounces buttercream frosting
- ¾ cup red candy melts
- ¾ cup strawberry flavored pink candy melts
- 1 teaspoon strawberry extract
- Valentine's mix non-pareils sprinkles
- Pink and red heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Place the red candy melts in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring until smooth. It will take about 2-3 minutes. Be sure not to overcook. Repeat with the pink candy melts, keeping the two colors separated.
- Remove the lid and film from the tub of frosting. Place it in the microwave for a 1 minute, or until fully melted and smooth. Set aside half a teaspoon of uncooked frosting if using the heart sprinkles.
- Add the extract to the melted frosting and stir well.
- Place half of the frosting in with the red candy melts and the other half with the pink candy melts. Stir each color until fully mixed.
- Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, making sure to leave some overhang. Alternate pouring in the two colors in random spots, pausing to tap the pan in between so it evens out and removes bubbles.
- Place in the pan of fudge in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours or until hardened. Cut into bars and enjoy.
