- Banana cream instant pudding mix: I use the 5.1 ounce box mix for this recipe. You can also use vanilla pudding.
- Milk: The milk is mixed with the pudding mix to create a creamy pudding.
- Banana: You will want to use ripe bananas, but not overly ripe and mushy.
- Vanilla wafer cookies: You can use the mini wafers or regular size.

Whisk together with the milk.
Layer in wafers and bananas. Repeat.

How To Make Individual Banana Pudding Jars
Step 1. Prepare Pudding Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the banana cream pudding mix and of milk for about 2 minutes. Let the pudding set for 5 minutes until it becomes thick.
Step 2. Slice Bananas: Slice one banana into thin rounds.
Step 3. Assemble the Jars: Start by placing a layer of the prepared banana cream pudding the in bottom of the jar. Add a layer of vanilla wafers on top of the pudding. Place some sliced bananas on top of the wafers. Repeat these layers until the jar is full, ending with a layer of sliced bananas on top.
Step 4. Refrigerate: Keep the assembled jars in the refrigerator for at least least 3-4 hours and until ready to serve. When ready to serve, you can optionally top the jars with additional slices of banana and cookie crumbles for garnish.
