Ingredients

Graham Cracker Crumbs: you can make your own graham cracker crumbs or buy them at the grocery store. To make your own, just crush graham crackers in a large ziplock bag with a rolling pin, or you can process them in a food processor.
Evaporated Milk: evaporated milk is shelf stable milk that has been heated to remove 60% of the water. You can find it in the baking aisle of most grocery stores. Not that evaporated milk is not the same as condensed milk.
Sugar: use regular granulated sugar. Brown sugar could also be used.
Butter: unsalted butter or salted butter works.
Vanilla: vanilla extract adds great flavor to the bars.
Salt: add in pinch of kosher salt.
Chocolate Chips: I use semi sweet chocolate chips but you can use whatever chips you like. Change up the flavor with butterscotch chips, peanut butter chips, or even white chocolate chips.
Walnuts: chopped walnuts add great crunch. You can substitute with your favorite nut like pecans or almonds, or just omit the nuts altogether.
How to Make Graham Cracker Crumbs Bars
You can make these graham cracker bars in a standard 9 x 9 inch baking pan. I recommend spraying the square pan with nonstick spray and lining with parchment paper before using.
Step 1: make the batter

In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, combine the graham cracker crumbs, evaporated milk, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Use a spoon to mix until well combined.
Step 2: add in the mix ins

Add in the chocolate chips and walnut and stir until combined. Pour the ingredients into prepared baking dish and press in to flatten.
Step 3: bake

Bake in preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until bars are golden in color. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for three days or refrigerate for up to a week. You can also freeze these bars for up to three months.
